Maths

1st class had great fun studying the topic of Weight.  They organised the food items according to weight, but without measuring or reading the weight on the packets! A big thank you to Mrs. Gallagher and her magic stickers!  There was also a 30 second dash, where each pair had to pick 2 items that they thought weighed the same! The children discussed how some of the big items actually weighed less than some of the small items.  They enjoyed debating which is heavier - 1kg of feathers or 1kg of stones!
